MLP

The MLP Series Hi-Lift Maintenance Platform Vehicle is designed for aircraft ground support personnel use. It allows servicing of aircraft from 1.85m to 10m.

The maintenance vehicle consists of truck chassis powered by a diesel engine with a manual transmission, a hydraulically actuated scissor lift mechanism, an extensible service platform, two sets of outriggers behind the front and rear axles, and a pair of straight down type stabilizers under the front bumper.

The outriggers provide stability during the raising and lowering of the platform. The front stabilizers provide increased stability when the platform is extending or retracting. Platform and stabilizer controls are achieved using reliable solenoid valves. All functions, except stabilizer retraction, may be operated from a platform-mounted control panel.
